Committees

Beautification (Campus, Buildings)

1. Identify projects that will improve the overall campus and its facilities. 

2. Coordinate volunteers and improvement events/activities.

3. Work with other PTL/Alliance committees and faculty/administration/alumni to secure necessary materials/funds.

4. Oversee execution.

5. Celebrate successes!

 Cultural (Spirit, Mentoring, Fellowship)

1. Identify opportunities for promoting Saints spirit around the campus (décor, projects, activities).

2. Develop and implement programs for increasing the “well roundedness” of our students.  Help them to be better prepared for service in our World.

   1. Social events leadership and planning (dances, activism).

3. Develop programs to bring our parents, faculty, administration and alumni together to increase networking, develop relationships, and bond and promote Christian/Lutheran values and faith.

4. Celebrate BLS culture!

 Alumni (Tracking, Communication, Involvement)

1. Track the whereabouts of BLS alumni. 

2. Communicate with alum on a regular basis with meaningful news and information.

3. Encourage alumni to support the school through volunteerism and financial support.

4. Celebrate the commitment of our alumni to serve and support their school!

Communication (Inform!)

1. Maintain calendar that combines all major school activities with PTL/Alliance activities.  

2. Ensure that key events are properly socialized well in advance via email, website, and postings strategically placed throughout the campus.

3. Implement strategic bulletin boards.  Ensure posted materials are fresh and pertinent.

4. Celebrate the BLS community being informed and involved!

 Supportive Campaigns (Financial and Cause Related)

1. Coordinate traditional fundraisers.

2. Coordinate any miscellaneous non-fundraising efforts that provide value to BLS. 

3. Create new, innovative ways to generate funds.

4. Work with the Communications committee to keep BLS community informed regarding what/where their contributions are doing to improve the school.

5. Celebrate the generosity of our BLS community!
